Refrigerators are provided in McCarthy, Morris, O'Brien and Rubloff halls. Compact refrigerators are allowed in the student's room providing the following conditions:
- Maximum limits:
- Weight: 100 pounds
- Size: up to 7 cubic feet
- Voltage Rating: 115V to 120V, 50/60 cycles
- Amperage: 1.8 amps (195 watts)
- Grounding type: 16 AWG conductor
- Cord: Number 16 with 3-prong grounded plug
- Refrigerators taller than 36" in height and may not be stacked on each other.
- Refrigerators must be placed in an area with adequate ventilation.
